It was created under eLogmar – M project within the Sixth Framework Program (DG INFSO) of the European Commission (www.elogmar-m.org). The transportation freight route “China – Mediterranean – Western Europe – Baltic Sea” is selected for demonstration of Web – based and Mobile services with maritime & transport logistics applications.

Therefore if you are dealing with cargo transportation along “China – Europe ” route our Web – portal is especially for you!!!

A web – portal can be also easy adapted to any other cargo transportation route by entering additional data (tariffs, expected transit time etc.)

A portal provides services for two major target groups:
- Cargo group;
- Transportation group.

If you are an actor from Cargo group:
Cargo owner, exporter / importer, trading house, broker etc.

You can:
- Calculate a start-to-finish transportation rate of cargo delivery in containers taking into account terms of a Contract of sale / purchase;
- Estimate expected transportation time from a point of delivery to a point of destination;
- Select suitable Cargo carrier from Transportation group (shipping line, block train operator, road carrier, forwarder & multimodal transport operator) taking into account two basic and several additional (“soft”) criteria;
- Estimate of carrier's service level;
- Receive initial information regarding shipping lines, block trains and road carrier's services (Sailings, timetables, characteristics of terminals etc.)
- Receive necessary information via Internet (full set) and Mobile (restricted set) connections.

You can:
- Promote your services placing corresponding information at the Web – portal. In this case you will benefit from the use of Web – portal by attracting new customers and as a result by increasing container cargo turnover.
